I was attracted to Pilates classes because it was in my local area. Mary, who runs the classes, is very welcoming, friendly, dedicated, well presented and a very motivated instructor. The classes are small in number, allowing you to receive constant assistance and instruction on how to perform the exercise correctly. Mary can personalise an exercise depending on either injuries or restrictions (I can’t cross my legs) that a client might have. The studio where the class is held is very clean, bright and fresh smelling. I like that classes always run on time. I have always enjoyed running to keep fit, but with doing Pilates also, I feel it gives me the variety and it helps me to improve and maintain my whole body posture and strength. Pilates is easy on my body (low impact) and I can see myself doing it for a long time.
